Audiences and formats
Are you a conference organiser? Over 20+ years Andrew has spoken at a variety of public events to audiences from half a dozen to 400+, as well as on TV/ radio/ podcasts and the press. He has facilitated panels discussions and workshops, as well as chairing boards.
He is used to talking to a variety of audiences (young/old – junior/ senior – specialist/ non-specialist) at different levels, adapting his style accordingly. He has worked in different countries speaking to audiences for whom English is not a first language.
His preference is for interactive workshop or “A conversation with…” formats, but he is also comfortable delivering lecture-style presentations.
Topics
Here is a little more background that may help you determine where Andrew would be a good speaker for your conference/ event. There are a range of topics that he can speak on:
- Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility – Andrew has taught Business Ethics & Sustainability at postgraduate level and draws on a wide range of theory, tools and case studies. He is particularly interested in CSR and SMEs/ micro-enterprises, as well as implications of new trends (e.g. competition law, social media, AI / automation and BCorps).
- Community participation and town centre regeneration – Drawing on hands-on experience in Community Visioning and town centre regeneration Andrew can explore with leaders in your organisation/ community how to draw on international best practice.
- Sustainability, competition law and voluntary agreements – For many years Andrew led advocacy – under the banner of ‘The Cooperatition Incubator’ – for changes to competition law that would enable greater collaboration between businesses on issues of public benefit. He continues to take an active interest in this area.
- Portfolio careers, social entrepreneurship and community action – As a life-long social entrepreneur Andrew share’s his personal experiences and insights to encourage the next generation to take action in their communities.
